Hindsight Ain't 20/20

At the last minute, I added an extra poem to my new album Poetry Is The Drum: Another Poetic Pivot. "Hindsight ain't 20/20 if tomorrow's your last today." That's a line from my poem Tomorrow's Today. This poem is a strong suggestion to stop taking time for granted. It's a reminder to create time for the people that matter and to make time for joy.

I was compelled to leave you with something to think about. That's what poetry is supposed to do. It's supposed to make you think, make you feel and make you reassess. Sometimes it makes you change your perspective. Poetry is a form of communication, just like the history of the drum. Poetry IS the Drum.
